Great she talked about it but if she was so honest, the writer certainly didn't expound any did he? Impossible for the writer to "get it" but I find it so typical that the writer mentions this could happen with a biological mother/daughter relationship.

If Katherine was completely honest and the writer knew anything about attachment issues in adopted children he likely wouldn't have put the biological mother/daughter comparison in the article.
Not saying it's not possible for a biological mother/daughter to have bonding issues but we as parents of children with RAD know, the attachment difficulties and the rejection we experience from our adopted children is incomparable to anything else.
