Attachment in Foster Care

We were told that if a child is taken away from an orphanage and doesn't cry...it means there was no attachment formed in that place. 

The reality of this sort of scenario...is absolutely heart-breaking.

Heart-breaking.

And we have lived with that very heartbreak.
